Har Ghar Tiranga

Following activities were conducted under Har Ghar Tiranga programme:- A flag hoisting ceremony was held in GMHS 49D. Students were made aware about flag code 2002 , a lecture was delivered in this regard . Students were also encouraged to take a selfie with national flag and upload it on the given website. Poster making competition was also held.

Nationl Level Competition of Teaching Learning Designs using Film Clips

Nationl Level Competition of Teaching Learning Designs using Film Clips held at Amity University Noida from 16th Feb to 17th Feb 2019 under the title of ‘Cinema in the Class; Learning with Moving Images’ by the initiative of Bichitra Pathshala and Vigyaan Prasar an autonomous organization under department of Science and Technology Govt of India.
It is a matter of proud for GMHS Sec 49 D Chandigarh that Mr AMANDEEP SAHNI TGT (Maths ) GMHS Sec 49 D participated in the competition organised under the guidance of Dr Nakul Prashar Director Vigyaan Prasar, Mr Nimish Kapoor scientist ‘E’ Vigyaan Prasar,Mr S.V. Raman President Bichitra Pathshala Mrs Subha Das Mollick Secretary Bichitra Pathshala.
Teachers from Shillong, Chandigarh, Darjeeling, Luckhnow, Bhopal, Chennai and Vishakhapatnam participated in the competition.

 

 

It is a matter of proud for our school that Mr Amandeep Sahni TGT( Maths) has written a book LEARNING BASIC CONCEPTS OF MATHEMATICS, which has been published.

 

 

 

Participated in 64th National Taekwondo Games held at Chattisgarh and got second position. It is a big moment of proud for the school and team members.Sports teacher Mr Harmanjeet Singh did his part very well.

 

 

 

 

 

It is a matter of proud for our school that under the guidance of Music Teacher Mr Kuldeep Singh our students participated in National Level Role Play and Folk Dance Competition at NCERT DELHI in Dec 2018 and reached upto semi final round i.e won North Indian teams.

 

 

Amandeep Sahni TGT Maths Conducted a Maths Workshop at GMHS 49 D Chd on 16-11-2018 in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalya Sector 47 Chd where students were taught Maths Activities on Projector.

 

 

 

KALA UTSAV 2018 competition was arranged at GMSSS 46D Chd where two first and three second positions are grabbed by GMHS 49 D Chandigarh under the guidance of Headmistress Mrs Lovleen Kaur and dedicated Music teacher Mr Kuldeep Singh. Students performed so well that the audience felt spell bounded.

 

 

A tour is arranged of Junior Classes on 25-10-2018 to Kurukshetra at KALPANA CHAWLA PLANETARIUM under the guidance of Headmistress Mrs Loveleen Kaur.The guide teachers Mrs Vandana,Mrs Gita Rani,Mrs,Sarvjit Kaur and Mr. Kuldeep accompanied with the students along with two non teaching staff. It was really a memorable tour.All enjoyed as well as learnt a lot.

 

 

 

 

 

A rally is organised on 23-10-18 under the guidance of Headmistress Mrs Loveleen Kaur against the drugs abuse.The teachers Mr. Amandeep Sahni, Mrs Chandanpreet Kaur and Mrs Mamta organised it.The community members also joined on the way
